  1. On May 24, 2000, a man entered the Wendy's restaurant located in South Jamaica, Queens.
  2. He pulled out a gun and ordered the workers to lie down on the floor.
  3. He then forced the manager to open the safe and stole approximately $2,400.
  4. After he had taken the money, the perpetrator began shooting employees and customers indiscriminately.
  5. By the time he was done, five employees were dead, and two others were injured.

    Peter Jourdan

    Peter Jourdan was the perpetrator of the Wendy's Massacre. He was a 42-year-old man who had a criminal record and was believed to be addicted to cocaine. He was eventually arrested for the crime and sentenced to life in prison.
